Listen to samples from Lynn's CDs
"Long, long ago..." Lynn Moroney's stories often begin, setting the stage for her listeners to be transported to another place and time.
From her CD, "The Feather Moon," Lynn weaves the lore about how the Pleiades were formed by seven dancing brothers who wished to join the dancing stars in the skies.

A Cheyenne tale about how a rooster decides to "crow up the sun" because he is tired of the dark, also lends insights as to why coyotes howl at the moon.

Coyote loved to dance ... but when he wanted to dance with the stars, the stars laughed and told him he would not last the night. That is when the little star from the south invited Coyote up to the sky to dance with her.

Lynn Moroney's three recordings are available for purchase on CD. Teachers may use her recordings in their classrooms. However, Lynn asks that you pass these tales on with care, respect and gratitude ... for that is the way of stories.
